Manicotti

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Manicotti Noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef, Browned
  • 3 cups Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded, Divided
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 whole Eggs Beaten
  • 1-½ cup Prego Three-Cheese Spaghetti Sauce

Boil manicotti noodles 8 minutes. Drain. Meanwhile, make the filling: combine ground beef, 2 cups shredded cheese, cottage cheese, and eggs. Pour 3/4 cup sauce into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Stuff noodles with filling using a large Ziploc bag with a corner cut out. Arrange filled noodles on the sauce in the pan in a single layer. Top with an additional light layer of sauce (3/4 cup or so). Cover with foil and bake at 375ºF for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese. Cover again with foil. Allow cheese to melt five minutes and serve

    Tried this one and my boys loved it. I did use ground italian sausage instead of just sausage and also doubled the recipe. Thank you for sharing!!
