Sausage and Peppers

1 Whole Smoke sausage

3-4 Potatoes, any kind, red is best

1/2 small onion sliced

1/2 bell pepper diced

Salt, pepper, and season salt to taste.

2-3 T of oil

I start with my cast iron skillet, add oil and heat to medium high heat, add onions and potatoes, cook about 10 minutes, or until potatoes start to get softer, add bell peppers cook another 5 minutes then add smoked sausage and cook until warmed through.  Salt, pepper, and season salt during cooking, whenever you feel like it, I usually do it towards the first…

    I make this same recipe, only I put it in a foil packet and cook it on the grill. Yum yum!

      That’s a good idea too, I think I even have a Crockpot variation to this as well, but personally, I like it straight from the cast iron!!
